WELCOME TO OUR FACTORY
where quality takes shape
Our own production facility in Vietnam connects product development, manufacturing and quality control in one coordinated process.
BUILDING A BETTER
PRODUCTION
Viking Vietnam Co. Ltd. was established in 2004 and today employs approximately 360 people across development, manufacturing, engineering, quality control and administration.
Having our own production facility gives us direct responsibility for how our garments are made, how quality is controlled and how the people behind our products are supported. Rather than relying solely on external suppliers, we can work closely across departments, maintain greater transparency throughout production and continuously improve the processes that influence quality, efficiency and working conditions.
Our values of integrity, flexibility and quality are built into the way the factory operates. Integrity means taking responsibility for our production, our employees and the standards we work by. Our in-house expertise gives us the flexibility to adapt to different customer requirements, while close collaboration, technical knowledge and structured quality processes help us deliver consistent quality from development to finished product.
This long-term approach also allows us to invest directly in the factory and the people working within it. We focus on continuous employee training, safe and responsible working conditions, environmental management and more efficient use of resources. Initiatives such as our certified management systems, social responsibility standards, renewable energy investments and ongoing production improvements form part of our effort to build a stronger and more responsible manufacturing operation.
By keeping knowledge, responsibility and production closely connected, we can offer our customers greater insight into where their products come from and greater confidence in how they are made.
VIKING VIETNAM ESTABLISHED
Viking Vietnam Ltd. is established, giving us direct responsibility for production, product quality and working conditions. Owning our production keeps us close to both the people making our garments and the processes behind them.
EXPANSION OF PRODUCTION
Operations move to a 6,000 m² facility in Hoc Mon, creating additional capacity and supporting a broader range of garments.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT
Viking Vietnam achieves ISO 9001 certification. The certification formalises the quality processes used throughout the factory and supports our commitment to consistent standards and continuous improvement.
SUPPORTING RESPONSIBLE WORKING CONDITIONS
Viking Vietnam achieves SA 8000 certification, strengthening our structured approach to employee welfare, safe working conditions and responsible production. It reflects our belief that integrity also means taking responsibility for the people behind every product.
IMPROVING ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
Viking Vietnam achieves ISO 14001 certification, establishing a systematic approach to managing environmental impacts. The certification helps us measure our performance, identify improvements and take greater responsibility for how we operate.
OUR NEW FACILITY
Viking Vietnam moves to a new and larger facility, increasing production capacity and creating a more efficient, connected process from development to delivery.
QUALITY AT EVERY STAGE
Quality is integrated throughout the production process rather than treated as a final checkpoint. Materials, construction and finished garments are inspected and tested at defined stages to support consistent quality and documented requirements.
MATERIAL INSPECTION
Materials are inspected before entering production to identify visible defects and confirm relevant specifications.
IN-LINE INSPECTIONS
Quality teams follow production while garments are being made, allowing issues to be identified and addressed early.
TECHNICAL TESTS
Relevant product properties, including waterproofness and seam performance, can be tested according to product and customer requirements.
END OF LINE INSPECTIONS
Seams, stitching, components and key functions are carefully inspected, while any issues are corrected before the garment can move forward.
AQL 2.5 CHECKS
Finished garments are inspected according to our defined AQL 2.5 sampling procedure. A sample is selected from the order and evaluated against the approved product requirements.
Powered by people
Our workforce of skilled professionals is at the heart of our production. Their experience, technical knowledge and attention to detail help us maintain consistent quality across every stage of manufacturing.
We believe strong products are built by strong teams. That is why we invest in continuous training, safe and responsible working conditions, and opportunities for professional development. By strengthening the people behind our production, we strengthen the knowledge, stability and craftsmanship that our customers depend on.
We also value the experience and input of our employees as part of improving the way we work. Their practical knowledge helps us identify better processes, improve efficiency and maintain high standards throughout production.
FROM DESIGN TO DELIVERY
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Customer requirements are translated into product concepts and technical specifications.
MATERIAL INSPECTION
Incoming fabrics are checked for faults, length and width. Materials that do not meet requirements are set aside before cutting begins.
SEWING
Our skilled sewing teams assemble garments according to approved specifications, with inline checks to identify and correct issues during production.
TECNNICAL FINISHING
Seam taping, welding and heat transfers are applied according to each garment’s requirements, providing the specified protection and finish.
QUALITY CONTROL
Inline inspections, AQL 2.5 checks and technical testing help verify quality throughout production.
PACKAGING & SHIPPING
Finished garments are branded, packed, stored and prepared for shipment.
PREPARED FOR DELIVERY
Our integrated warehousing and logistics functions create a connected flow from finished production to final delivery. By managing storage, documentation and shipment planning directly alongside production, we maintain greater control over each order and can coordinate delivery according to the customer’s specific requirements.
Our warehouse capacity also allows us to store both finished garments and selected fabrics or materials. Keeping key materials close to production can shorten lead times for repeat orders and reduce the need for additional inbound shipments before manufacturing can begin. This gives us greater flexibility when planning production and helps customers avoid unnecessary transport costs that would otherwise be added on top of the manufacturing process.
Once production is complete, our teams coordinate packing, documentation and shipment preparation in-house. With flexible sea and air freight options and efficient access to Cat Lai Port, we can plan each shipment around the required balance of lead time, volume and cost.
By connecting warehousing, production and logistics under one operation, we reduce unnecessary handling, simplify the supply chain and give customers a more efficient route from stored material to finished product and final delivery.
