OUR APPROACH TO RESPONSIBILITY

We believe every garment should have a purpose. Designed for function, built for durability, and made to meet a genuine need.
Never disposable.
While the idea of true sustainability may remain an illusion, we take responsibility by
continuously striving for better solutions and more responsible practices.

Fair Employment

Fair employment means giving people a dependable foundation for their working lives. At our Vietnam facility, our impact report recorded base salaries 38% above the calculated 2023 living-wage benchmark, before additional bonuses and benefits. Employees also receive a 13th-month salary, alongside performance and attendance bonuses.

That support extends beyond the factory. Childcare allowances help employees with children, while housing allowances support those who have moved from the countryside to work with us. Free lunches are provided in our canteen, with dinner available during extended working hours and overtime paid at a premium rate.

Our Vietnam facility is SA8000 certified, with external assessments of working conditions and workers’ rights. Employees have trade union representation and elected representatives who meet with management. Clear employment policies, age verification during recruitment and procedures against forced labour support our commitment to treating every employee with dignity, integrity and respect.

02

Employee Health & Wellbeing

Caring for our employees requires regular attention and practical support. At our Vietnam facility, employees are offered two health examinations each year, with an on-site medical room and first-aid team available for immediate needs. Two annual fire drills, regular safety training and inspections of emergency equipment help employees prepare for situations where knowing what to do matters.

We also support employee wellbeing during working hours. Employees are offered two voluntary seven-minute guided exercise sessions, alongside programmes covering nutrition, mental wellbeing and personal development. Daily meals and shared activities give people opportunities to take a break, connect with colleagues and look after themselves.

Employees also help shape our approaches. English classes, aerobics, cooking competitions and internal gardens have grown from their own suggestions. Machine-operation training supports new colleagues and employees moving between production tasks. By supporting both practical skills and employee-led activities, we create opportunities for people to contribute, learn and take an active part in their workplace.

Product Responsibility

Making garments uses energy, water and materials.
We take responsibility for the garments we put into the world by designing it for demanding use. Durability guides our product development, with the aim of keeping garments useful for longer. We have also introduced a take-back pilot with an airport customer to explore what happens to garments after use and learn more about opportunities to extend their working life.

Careful use of materials is part of our daily production work. Employees at our Vietnam facility contribute ideas to improve designs, save fabric and make better use of offcuts. Their knowledge of the materials and production process helps identify practical improvements. We have also mapped production waste to build a clearer picture of the resources leaving our factory.

Our implemented ISO 14001 environmental management system provides a structure for reviewing environmental practices and identifying improvements. Monthly energy-consumption records help us understand how our Vietnam operations use electricity. Together, material-saving initiatives, waste mapping and energy monitoring give us concrete information to guide decisions and take responsibility for our use of resources.

Responsible Business

Responsibility depends on how consistently we follow through. Our ISO 9001 certification supports clear processes, quality control and continuous improvement. External audits bring an independent perspective to working conditions and social accountability. We use these systems to examine our practices and identify where action is needed.

Employees have several ways to raise concerns, including direct communication with supervisors, anonymous complaint mailboxes, union representatives and a confidential line to external auditors. Reported concerns activate a defined procedure, and corrective actions are recorded. These channels give employees a voice and help us address issues that might otherwise go unheard.

The same commitment shapes our supplier relationships. We assess suppliers according to risk and prioritise stable, long-term partnerships with businesses that share our expectations for quality, responsibility and transparency. Working closely with existing suppliers gives us the opportunity to address problems and support improvement over time. We take responsibility for the relationships behind our products as well as the products themselves. people who work with us.
